The New Play Area on Beechamwell Green
The Green, situated in the heart of the rural village of Beachmwell had never had any play equipment for the children of the village. A small play area committee was set up led by local farmer's wife Caroline Sanderson. She undertook to raise the necessary funds for the play area by applying for funding from the National Lottery via Breckland Council. Planning permission was also required. Norfolk Games and Frames helped in the planning at every stage, from deciding on the best equipment for the particular age range, to supplying drawings to aid with planning permission to submitting a proposal, necessary to gain the funding from the lottery. The Result - A fantastic new play area with climbing, balancing, swinging and role play items. A picnic table, bench, litter bin and our heavy duty fencing completed the project.
