Eco Classroom

beginning the cob walls

The cob walling has now started on Taverham Hall School’s new Eco Classroom.

The classroom has a living sedum roof, box seating, and Belfast sink with water supply.  Canvas top panels have been added for more comfort when the weather is less kind.

The Eco Classrom was opened on Monday 11th November – you can see the children’s comments in Opening of the new Eco Classroom

This picture of the Eco Classroom was taken when it was almost finished.  The classroom, which is based on a Forest Pavilion (see above),  blends well into its surroundings, and will look even better when the exterior cob walling has been completed.  Canvas top panels have now been added for more comfort when the weather is less kind.
